Sale-a-bration and Occasions Mini Catalog will be arriving in your mailbox soon. Both of these catalogs will start on January 5. Sale-a-bration is the best promotion of the year allowing you to earn extra free merchandise. For every $50 purchase, you can pick one free product out of the Sale-a-bration catalog, or from the list in the back of the flyer. In addition, if you host a $300 workshop, you can also earn a free product. This is the best time of the year to host. These free product offerings are in addition to all the other generous hostess benefits. Get you friends together, and host a workshop during this promotion period.
The Occasions Mini Catalog is packed with spring seasonal products, including new stamp sets, papers and punches.
Both of these catalogs introduce our new Acrylic mount stamp sets and newly designed punches.
Going forward you will have the option of purchasing your stamps either the traditional wood mounted style or the New Clear-mount style. The advantages of the clear mount style are decreased cost for each stamp set, and less storage space requirements. See page 6 of the new mini catalog for a complete description of our new clear mount stamp design.
The new punch style also has the great benefit of requiring less space for storage, has greater punching leverage, and allows for larger punch images. See page 10 of the new mini catalog for complete descriptions.
I am looking forward to introducing these new products to you in 2010.

In Colors and Razzle Dazzle

Razzle Dazzle is the first set I purchased from the new catalog, along with all the in colors. So far I haven't used the stamp set, and have only occasionally used the new colors. For today's challenge it was time to work with all of that and this is the result. I really like this set and the in colors are great with it. Those colors are really growing on me and I love working with them. They really make striking cards because the colors are so bold.

Stamp Set: Razzle Dazzle, Upsy Daisy (sentiment)
Papers: Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango, Rich Razzleberry Card Stock
Inks: Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Dusty Durango, Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay Markers, Basic Brown Ink
Accessories: Dusty Durango Polka Dot Gros Grain Ribbon, Earth Elements Brads

Simply Scrappin' Christmas Card

Hi, for today's Monday Lunchtime Challenge I decided to use the Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin' Kit. Over the weekend I used my kit to design a stamp-a-stack class for later this month. There were a lot of elements left over, so I used some of them for this challenge. It was pretty easy, no stamping, just cut and paste. I love making cards with the SS Kits. You can get so many cards out of one, by just adding a little extra card stock.
Stamps: none
Papers: Old Olive Card Stock, Real Red Card Stock, Chocolate Chip Card Stock
Accessories: Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin' Kit, Sleigh Bells Old Olive Ribbon, Clear Rhinestone Brads, Modern Label Punch.

Upsy Daisy Thank You Card

Today I made another card for a sketch challenge on the Stamping 411 website. I had some left over card cutouts from my workshop on Saturday, so it added the additional challenge of using materials I already had on hand and making them work for this sketch. I already had a lot of Christmas and Fall cards, so decided on a thank you card, which I often need.
Stamp Sets: Upsy Daisy, Falling Leaves (sentiment)
Papers: Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Kraft, Whisper White Card Stock, Christmas Cocoa Specialty DSP
Inks: Rose Red, Soft Suede
Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, Modern Label Punch, Earth Elements Brad, Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon, 1/16" hole punch.

Mojo Monday Challenge 106

I sat down to do a challenge based on the Sketch on the Mojo Monday Website. I think I like the idea I had for the card, but I think it needed a little more color somehow. But anyway, here it is. I love this stamp set, and have not ended up using it as much as I thought I would. It was time to get it out and try some new ideas.

Sketch 118 for Stamping 411

Top Image: Card Inside
Bottom Image: Card Front

I sat down this morning to create a card for the Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #SSC118. My mind has been going to Christmas Card creations lately and I have several new sets that have been waiting for me since before my vacation. We had a great vacation by the way. Cool weather, lots of bicycling and relaxing in Yosemite and on the California Coast.
Anyway back to stamping. I wanted to use "Berry Christmas" out of the Holiday Mini Catalog and the new word set "Many Merry Messages". I have not invested in much Designer paper as of yet, so used all card stock and did some background stamping to create the accents for the card. You can really make a lot of your own contrasting papers in this way, and really make them coordinate well with the rest of the card. I am pleased with how this turned out. I also put some white card stock inside (top image), which I usually do when the base of my card is a darker color card stock. I hope you like my contribution to this challenge.
Stamp Sets: Many Merry Messages, Berry Christmas
Inks: Real Red, Old Olive, Crushed Curry
Papers: Real Red, Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Whisper White card stock
Accessories: circle cutter, Mistle Toe Old Olive Ribbon Originals, sponges

This Card is made with a wonderful set which is highlighted in the New Holiday Mini Catalog. I love the elegant snowflakes included in this set. This card is done in a neutral tones, but can also be beauful using a blue/silver color scheme. On-line ordering is always available, and I will try to do a blog entry or two while I am gone. I really need to get a Lap top so I can stay connected, but so far that is not in my future. I hope to see many of you at my next event, World Card Making Day, October 3, 2009.

Mojo Monday Week 102 Challenge

This sketch made me think of the Medallion Stamp once again. I think this is going to be one of my favorite stamps!. I was going for a mainly monochromatic look, with a slight hint of color. It doesn't show up real well on the picture, but the center of the medallion has the Champagne Shimmer paint on it and it gives it a really nice look.

Stamps: Medallion, Happy Everything, Beautiful Thing
Inks: Sahara Sand, Soft Suede
Papers: Kraft, Ivory Naturals, Soft Suede, and Blush Blossom Cardstock
Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, Clear Ice Brads, Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon, Champagne Shimmer Paint, Sponges.

Sketch 114 Entry for Stamping 411

Today's card is for the Challenge on The Stamping 411 Blog. This was a fun sketch. I am finding just thinking about a sketch and how I am going to do it is really good for my creativity. I just got the Medallion Stamp in my order this week and have been anxious to use it, so here is my first card with this great stamp. I had meant to use all the new In-Colors, but after completing the card I realized I had used the Pacific Point from the old In-Colors instead of Bermuda Bay.
Here are the Details for the card:
Paper: Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, and Pacific Point Cardstock
Ink: Versamark
Accessories: Gold Embossing Powder, Small Circle Brad Gold Elastic Cord,
Misc. Notes: Torn edge and circle brad embossed with versamark and gold embossing powder.
