A Wonderful Spring Card

Now that spring is here and all the flowers are blooming, I am in the mood for some flowery cards. This one is scheduled for my workshop this Saturday. It would make a lovely birthday, anniversary or just thinking of you card. I am focusing on the retired colors in this upcoming workshop, so all of these colors will be retiring in July. (except the Whisper White)

Card Stock: Sage Shadow, Lovely Lilac, Whisper White
Inks: Sage Shadow, Summer Sun, Perfect Plum
Stamps: Short and Sweet, Inspired by Nature
Accessories: Modern Label Punch, 5/8" Crushed Curry Grosgrain ribbon.

Mojo Motorcycle

I did this card for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge 134. I saw a similar idea on SCS (can't remember whose entry it was). I took some of the ideas but changed it some to make it work for this challenge. I also need a male card for a swap next week and this may be it. Below are the details.

Card stock: Natural White, Basic Grey, Silver, Basic Black, Real Red.
Stamps: Motorcycle, Illuminated Wheel.
Ink: Basic Black, Silver Encore.
Accessories: Bold Brights Button, Black 1/4" Gros Grain Ribbon, Scallop Border Punch.

Charlie's Pennant Die Birthday Banner

Yesterday was my grandson's first birthday and he came to visit us for lunch. I made him this Happy Birthday Banner using the Pennant Die and the Big Shot. I am pleased with how it turned out. It made our dining area look very festive. Saturday is his big birthday party for all the friends and relatives. We will have the banner up for the big event. Happy Birthday Charlie!

In Colors and Razzle Dazzle

Razzle Dazzle is the first set I purchased from the new catalog, along with all the in colors. So far I haven't used the stamp set, and have only occasionally used the new colors. For today's challenge it was time to work with all of that and this is the result. I really like this set and the in colors are great with it. Those colors are really growing on me and I love working with them. They really make striking cards because the colors are so bold.

Stamp Set: Razzle Dazzle, Upsy Daisy (sentiment)
Papers: Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango, Rich Razzleberry Card Stock
Inks: Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Dusty Durango, Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay Markers, Basic Brown Ink
Accessories: Dusty Durango Polka Dot Gros Grain Ribbon, Earth Elements Brads

Mojo Monday Week 102 Challenge

This sketch made me think of the Medallion Stamp once again. I think this is going to be one of my favorite stamps!. I was going for a mainly monochromatic look, with a slight hint of color. It doesn't show up real well on the picture, but the center of the medallion has the Champagne Shimmer paint on it and it gives it a really nice look.

Stamps: Medallion, Happy Everything, Beautiful Thing
Inks: Sahara Sand, Soft Suede
Papers: Kraft, Ivory Naturals, Soft Suede, and Blush Blossom Cardstock
Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, Clear Ice Brads, Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon, Champagne Shimmer Paint, Sponges.
